prayer for a new year and new life in christ

Father in heaven...
Thank you lord for another year and your endless grace and mercy upon our lives..
Lord your name is the highest on earth... highest in heaven... and in you have the highest place in my heart..
Lord thank you for giving us the gift of salvation through your son, our Lord jesus christ.
Thank you for every blessing that follows us, when we abide in jesus and make you the lord of our lives..
Lord thank you for choosing us to be a part of your great plan on this planet earth,for making us a part of your team... and to be used by you... for your kingdom and your glory..
Lord all that we have has been given by you.. and it fully belongs to you..

We will use the gifts and talents given by you for your glory only...
and not for our personal pride, greed and gain..
Lord you have promised that if we seek you with our full heart, you will meet all our needs... and I believe your word..

Lord I thank you that you have opened our eyes and now we can see and understand the truth..you are the way, the truth and Life..

Lord protect me from all the tricks and traps of the enemy through your son jesus christ...
Let me never be tempted to compromise and live a worldly and a false fun life..
I am aware that the enemy is all around me.. ready to swallow me in his trap..
Your word says.. the enemy is like a roaring lion..
ready to kill, steal and destroy.. to make sure that gods people slip in and fall down..


Lord you are my sheild and my protection..
Lord cover us from every attack of the evil one..
Let my coming in and going out... and all my people be under your blood protection..
According to psalm 91.. danger will never come near my doors..

Lord you said even before we ask you know what we need and you have already appointed your angels over us..
I know you have heard and approved my prayer because I ask in the name of jesus..
you love me and you will surely honour my faith in you..

birthday party

once this big birthday party was taking place.. people were enjoying and dancing and making merry in the party..
all the big people, the whos who were present at the occasion..
more and more people were coming in.. the gates were crowded..

there was a rush to get in.. every one was in a great mood to celebrate..
children.. parents... youngsters.. old ,,, everyone was thronging to the entrance..

inside was like a carnival... all sorts of entertainment.. drinks... dance...
stalls.. clothes.. it was an amazing arrrangent..

outside at the gates came a man who wanted to get into the party..
the security stopped him.. but he wanted to come in..
he was trying to make a way..
but there were more important people than him..
in big cars.. beautiful suits and gowns..

but this man was simple.. very ordinary... and it seemed that no one knew him..
because he was alone.. and not many people greeting him..

the gatekeeper said you cant get in.. you dont look like you belong to this party..

but this man insisted that he needs to get in.. he was requesting them
the gatekeeper was not sure if he would allow this person to get in..
"why do you want to go in?'" gatekeeper asked

this man said.. because they are celebrating my birthday..
my name is Jesus Christ.. and its christmas being celebrated everywhere..

gatekeeper said... but I dont see your name on any cards or anywhere else..

jesus said "yes I know that."

jesus was sad.. he put his head down and went away.. and people kept celebrating his birthday..

without him..

let us celebrate Jesus' birthday... but please let him come inside our homes and hearts..
no christ.. no christmas..

christmas message for times such as these

they will hate you because they hated me..
this is what jesus said two thousand years ago.. so true..

today jesus has to go.. all can stay.. everyone is welcome.. but jesus has to go...

even like those days..
all power was taken away from jesus..
being the son of god they made him the least powerful man on earth..

he asked for food.. but no food was given..
he wanted water.. he was thirsty..
but was not given any.. and he died thirsty..
they tore his clothes.. he was naked on the cross...
in other words... he was the poorest and the most powerless man on earth..

was jesus upset?? no..
jesus was quiet.. he knew this was the way of the world..
and he even warned his followers.. if you follow me they will hate you also.. so think before you follow me..

look around and see who wants to walk with someone like jesus today.. no one..
the world is looking for glitter.. glamour.. fame.. power.. success..
surely not for jesus.. no not at all...

everyone wants to connect with the powerful.. the great and the mighty.. the rich.. successful..

jesus is not the messiah.. people dont go to god for comfort..
money is god.. power is worshipped..
entertainment is the religion.. entertainers are gods..

today children have only these people to follow.. the society has become hollow.. shallow and empty...
the vision of the world is...
do it today...
kal ho na ho... thats the philosophy of the devil...
and even many believers get decieved...

but jesus is the lord of kal.. of eternity.. everlasting life... kal hai.. and forever.. hai...
john 10:10 I have come to give you life and life forever.. zindagi forever...

JESUS SAID john 18:36
"My kingdom does not belong to this world... for now my kingdom is not from here."

James 4:4 Don't you know that friendship with the world means enemity with God? So whoever wants to be a friend of this world is an enemy of God.

tough choice in times like these... the world is more and more attractive now.. it has so much to offer..

on the other hand.. a poor jesus on the cross.. and he says if you want to follow me you have to take up a cross also just like me.. mark 8:34

that means no to the world... very hard.. very very hard..

but if we know the end choice becomes clear...

jesus said in matthew 13:11 "To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom, but to them it has not been given. ( to the world )
For those who have ( jesus ), more will be given, and they will have an abundance; but from those who have nothing, even what they have will be taken away."

this christmas.. let us never lose the most precious gift of christ in our lives...
giving up worldly life may seem foolishness to the people who are about to perish..

but it is salvation and power to those who will stick on and not get tempted of the devil..

christian doesnt mean your name should be robert or john or d'souza..

christian means who lives and reflects the life and character of jesus.. you may be raju or manoj..

why complain.. we made these choices..

WHY THIS CURSE ??

why this terrororism?? killing.. death.. what did we do to deserve this.. ?? why must our children suffer..

DONT BE SURPRISED... WE MADE THIS CHOICE.. WE MAKE THIS CHOICE EVERYDAY .. WE HAVE INVITED THEM IN OUR LIVES..

let us go back 2000 Years ago jesus was brought to governer pilate for judgement..
to convict him of the FALSE charges and accusations of the chief preists and the elders...
ARE YOU THE KING OF JEWS?? that was the charge... verse 11..

and on that SAME day there was a notorious prisoner called BARABBAS..
he was a terrorist, worst criminal.. killer.. even in chains he was dangerous..
so cruel as if he would even break the chains at anytime and attack people.. AMBASSADOR OF EVIL...

on the other side was jesus, whom people knew was full of love and compassion..
jesus had already healed thousands of people..
he had given life to the dead.. people had seen that.. he had given food to thousands.. shown mercy.. love..
surely a godly person and not deserving to die as a criminal... AMBASSDOR OF PEACE

PILATE GAVE THEM A CHOICE.. I CAN RELEASE ONE PRISONER TODAY ACCORDING TO THE CUSTOM..
thinking in his mind he will let jesus go...

WHOM SHOULD I RELEASE TODAY.. JESUS OR BARABBAS??? verse 21


PEOPLE MADE THE CHOICE..

RELEASE BARABBAS.. and KILL JESUS.. CRUCIFY HIM...

pilate said but why?? what has he done?? because he knew jesus was a good person.. but the crowd was mad.. LIKE TODAY. in a frenzy...
shouting.. kill jesus.. crucify him... kill him... leave barabbas..
governer had no choice.. but he said.. the blood of this man is on you all..
you have forced me to take the decision and i wash my hands of this innocent blood... verse 24

and people said..
its ok.. let his blood and curse be upon us and our children.. but kill jesus today..
we dont want to see him alive.. he is too good to be alive,..

EVEN TODAY we prefer to live with barabbas and his sinful presence in our lives but kill jesus.. KILL JESUS... KILL JESUS...

OH MY GOD WHAT A BAD DECISION... and....

BARABBAS is alive today.. in the midst of us.. killing and doing all sort of mischief..

We are killing jesus everyday..
and prefering to live with barabbas and sin, lust, greed, temptation..
even believers kill jesus everyday by making a partnership with barabbas and his agents in the world...

and we dont care if the curse enters our homes, cities, nations, lives.. but all the masti today.. mazaa today.. nasha today..
tamasha, tadka, homosexuality, more money.. greed... flesh.. who cares about the curse..


and this fleshy lives brings more and more corruption..
world is crazy for power.. more power.. more corruption.. more fame... more property.. more business.. no morals, no values,
no truth,, only thing that matters is wordly succes.. no matter what u do for it..

PEOPLE ASK WHERE IS GOD?? EXCUSE ME.. YOU KILLED HIM..
and doing it everyday by making devil your RULER...

who rules your life.. is jesus your LORD ??

or barabbas.. or you want to crucify jesus... ignore him.. or burn his church.. kill his people.. his saints..
make a decision today.. you can change the curse.. follow jesus.. in spirit and in truth..

and make sure BARABBAS MUST GET OUT OF UR LIFE... forever and never to return... AMEN...

Thy Kingdom Come..

This is a prayer we all pray in some way or the other at different times. God let your will be done, you decide, your way is perfect etc.. But do we ever realise what his will is..
Or do we just pray in ignorence..
If he will really have his will done in our lives you may become an absolutely different person which we may not want to become right now..
We may have to change our lives beyond our imagination..
THY WILL BE DONE is not a simple prayer..
do we really mean it??
Think about it.. i will come back on this again.. you are welcome to respond...
